Responsibilities for this Warehouse Shipping Clerk job include:
• Preparation of all shipping documents
• Schedule truck pickups, including negotiating fees with freight companies
• Receive materials coming into the building by vendors, customers or other warehouses accurately and promptly
• Examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items. Appropriately report/record any discrepancies
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong planning, organizational and follow up skills
• Excellent computer skills including Word and Excel
• Mechanical ability and experience with the use of hand tools
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 2 years’experience in a shipping environment
This is a first shift position that starts at $13 per hour.
